How Did Your Triathlon Journey Start?

"I started triathlon in 2021 after the lockdown left me with big cabin fever, and I was eager to get outside and explore the countryside on foot and two wheels. Since I started, I’ve become greatly involved in Age-Group racing: I am currently a British Triathlon Ambassador, and I have raced all around the country and internationally in the 30-34 Age Group Category."

What Has Been the Pinpoint of Your Career? 

"My first notable success in the sport was qualifying for the 2022 Age Group World Championships in Abu Dhabi. I raced, not expecting anything, and came 3rd (1-second off silver) in my age group and 5th woman overall. Pentest People supported me during my 2023 season, and it turned out to be a successful one, despite some niggling injuries and equipment mechanicals along the way."

"Across three qualifying races, I achieved three Age-Group wins, and in two of these races, I achieved top female overall, which was a massive goal of mine."

What's Coming up Next in 2024? 

"As a result, I have qualified for the European Standard, World Standard and World Sprint Championships next year! With Pentest People's support, I hope to exceed this year’s achievements in 2024 by obtaining gold in my age group at the British and World Championships."

Support Kates Journey 

Kate is running the Leeds Marathon in May 2024 to raise awareness and money for the MND association, a charity that is important to her. Despite her sporting background, this is going to be a different kind of challenge for her.
